Sarah Kamala Baoy's Obituary
Sarah K. Baoy, 84, was born in Hilo and went to heaven Oct. 25th, @ Castle Hospital, Kailua. She was surrounded by her loving family. FHS ‘57 grad. Married to Raymond Baoy for 62 years (preceded her). Survived by daughters: Sarah Salera(Narcis), Raynette Taketa(Mark), Melita Among(Charles), hanai brother Austin Oili(Walene), 6 grandchildren, and 2 Great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, she enjoyed singing and playing music w/family and friends whom she loved. Always smiling, full of joy, she had great memorization skills: names, faces, streets, dates, etc. AKA: Ma Baoy to the Ilima Hula Studio Sweethearts. Her beautiful smile and aloha will always be remembered. Family and friends are welcome to her Celebration of Life, Nov. 20th, 11:30a-2p, @Valley of the Temples, Main Chapel. Private burial @ a later date.
