Sharon Naomi Au's Obituary
Sharon Naomi Au, 64, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016. She was born to Harry Yoshino and Annie Kung in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 27, 1952. She was a legal assistant with the law firm of Deely King Pang & Van Etten.
She is survived by husband, Samson “Sam” Au; daughter, Tabitha (Makana) Kanoa; son, Nicolas Au; brothers, Harvey Yoshino and Earl Yoshino; four grandchildren.
She led a full and exciting life. She graduated from the University of Hawaii studying music then later obtained a paralegal degree. While in College, she belonged to a rock group, Shades of Times, which played at many of the hottest Waikiki clubs. Her love of travel took her to many places. Her favorite was her 2 back to back European cruises during her last 2 years. Her favorite pass times was singing, tennis, and going to Vegas with her traveling companion for 30 years, Taren Klingler. And of course shopping. Aside from a short stint teach band, orchestra, and choir at St. Andrews Priory she spent most of her career in the legal field, with the majority of the time at Westlaw Publishing, Thomson Reuters. However, her latest and most favorite job was at the law firm of Deeley King Pang & Van Etten, because of the people.
Celebration of life services for Sharon will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii); visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., service to begin at 10:30 a.m. and burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
