Sharon Kim Lyn Yasuhara, age 76, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born on December 14, 1947, Sharon was a devoted homemaker and a loving, family-oriented mother who brought joy and laughter to everyone around her.
Sharon’s sense of humor was legendary, and she had a unique gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. She loved engaging in conversations and sharing stories, always leaving a lasting impression on those she met. Her warmth and kindness extended beyond people to animals, especially puppies and kittens, which she adored and cared for deeply.
A devout Jehovah’s Witness, Sharon’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was dedicated to her God and found great strength and comfort in her religious beliefs. Her unwavering faith and strong spirit were an inspiration to all who knew her.
In 1979, Sharon married her sweetheart, Dale, and together they built a loving family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Dale; her children, Robert (Jocelyn) and John; her grandchildren, Sheena, Janelle, and Robert Jr.; and her four great-grandchildren.
Sharon will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
