Simeona Tagalicud Kay's Obituary
Simeona Tagalicud Kay, born on October 9, 1928 in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, passed from this life into the arms of our Lord on June 27, 2019 at the age of 90. She was best known for her ever-present smile and hard-working nature, working at Kam Super Swap Meet on the weekends even after retiring in 1993 from American Linen Division. In Heaven, Simeona rejoins her husband Tan Kay, and parents Paulino Tagalicud and Sabina Calaputoc Tagalicud.
She leaves behind her seven children, Gabe (Lerma) Kay, Nita (Jimmy) Dadulla, Ruben (Linda) Kay, Ric (Ana) Kay, Rod (Della) Kay, Ernie (Josie) Tagata, and Lina (Mario) Cortez; her three siblings, Saturnina (Juan) Tagata, Antonio (Maxima) Tagalicud, and Alfredo (Consuelo) Tagalicud; 15 grandchildren, and 19 greatgrandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park on August 5, 2019, with viewing and memorial service at 5:30pm to 9:00pm. A second viewing and service will be held on August 6, 2019 at 9:30am, with burial to follow at 11:45am.
