Stanley Carson Yee's Obituary
Stanley Carson Yee, 84, of Ewa Beach, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, in Ewa Beach. He was born on December 25, 1939, in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late Tin Yau and Kwai Git Yee. Stanley was a retired chief for the Developmental Disabilities Division, State of Hawaii Department of Health.
He was predeceased by his younger brother Edmund. He is survived by his children, Kevin Yee, Aaron Yee, Sera-Lyn Yee (Lewis Hsu); granddaughter, Lorellei Hsu; life partner, Melani Corpuz; sisters, Irene Wong, Cynthia Kadekawa; sister-in-law, Janet Murphy; and stepson, Marlo Corpuz.
Stanley spent a lifetime contributing to various nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to his favorite charities: Special Olympics Hawai'i, John A. Burns School of Medicine, St. Louis School, National Park Service.
Visitation: 11:00 am; Services: 11:30am on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Valley of the Temples - Trousdale Chapel (on the hill). Burial to follow.
