Stephen Patrick Rego's Obituary
Stephen Patrick Rego, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at his home in Mililani on May 23, 2024, at the age of 82.
Born on October 15, 1941, to Jules and Dorothy Rego, Stephen grew up in Honolulu and attended Saint Louis High School. He later pursued business studies after graduating.
An avid sports enthusiast, Stephen was a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, LA Dodgers, Green Bay Packers, and legendary golfer Tiger Woods. He loved attending local high school sports games, especially football, basketball, and baseball.
Travel was another passion of Stephen's. He enjoyed taking his family on summer trips to the West Coast, visiting San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, where he enjoyed playing the slots and dining at the Main Street buffet.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Mercedes Rego; son Jared Rego and daughter-in-law Shera; and sister Linda.
He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
