Steve Egon Ramseyer's Obituary
Steve Egon Ramseyer, 60, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. He was born on July 19, 1955 in Romanshorn, Switzerland to Egon Ramseyer and Ingeborg Lemke, he was their only child.
Steve was a dialysis technician at Diversified Specialty Institute Dialysis Center and a United States Navy Veteran. He was married to Florentina Domrique Galera on October 21, 1993 aboard the Vessel Katava. He was a member of the Union, VA organization and a Christian by faith.
He had many friends that were near and dear to him, too many to count. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed watching sports, especially golfing and listening to country music.
He served in the Navy from April 6, 1976 to May 5, 1982 where he received the Battle “E” award, two sea service deployment ribbons and the Navy expeditionary medal.
He is survived by wife, Florentina G. Ramseyer; father, Egon Ramseyer and step-mother, Kathy Ramseyer.
Visitation: 5:30 – 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 17, 2015 at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church; eulogy: 6:00 p.m.; Mass to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Committal Service: 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific – Punchbowl.
