Obituary for STEVEN JAMES ADLAWAN 9 April 1957 – 18 June 2020
This is still a shocker for all of us who knew Steve. But I am reminded that it is appointed by the Lord himself as to WHEN we return from whence we came…..this, having always been God’s plan for the life and death of his creations.
We will all miss you Steve. Your life has made a significant impact on all those you have left behind. Your family mourns deeply for you.
The Book of Ruth tells a story very similar to what I see of your mom and your wife Remy, as they each individually try their best to navigate around the events that transpired the days before you left. Their souls are hurting and they grieve inside and out. They story goes on where eventually this shared loss leads to the creation of a bond between the two ladies. The relationship of a mother and her departed son’s wife serves as an inspiration to many people in the category of an “in-Law”.
Soon, the pair draws strength from each other , puts their grieving aside and determines to do what they need to do . In this case, there are still young children to care for…a house to keep …bills to pay and things to do, all the while encouraging each other in prayer , attitude and loving on each other.
I can see your wife Remy and your mom together , maintaining that love throughout the home for the rest of the Adlawan family…children and grandchildren .
God did not leave your family helpless in your absence, Steve. God’s prints are all over the preparations made for the others to carry on where you left off.
So, Rest in peace Steve, knowing all is well .
May our Lord bless you; may He grant you mercy and grace in His loving kindness.
(We are truly saddened by all this Steve…our hearts are broken. We will stay close to the family).
In Christ’s Everlasting Love,
