Steven Victorio Bersamin's Obituary
Steven Victorio Bersamin, age 82, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away on May 16, 2018.
Steven was born on August 3, 1935 in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines to Falaviana (Victorio) and Santiago Sabalboro Bersamin; he was the third oldest of five children.
He attended Camiling Colleges in the Philippines. After graduation, he began a career and worked as a conductor for the Philippine Rabbit Transportation Company.
Steven married Antonina Luuloa Mariano on July 17, 1963.
In Hawaii, he worked as an estimator/supervisor for Royal Hawaiian Movers. He worked for over 24 years and retired in 2006.
Steven’s most important events in his life were the birth of each new grandchild and of family time together.
He would always say to his family, “Me and your Mom have only one heart.” Steven and his family lived in Honolulu and Waianae.
He is survived by his loving wife, Antonina “Nina” “Toning” M. Bersamin; children, Charles Anthony M. Bersamin, Leilani Ann M. (Thomas) West and Kenneth Lyn M. (Hannah)
Bersamin; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jesus V. (GeneRosa) Bersamin and Cleopatra V. (Rudy) Viray.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 11:30 a.m.
