Sunia Taukiuvea Heimuli's Obituary
Sunia Taukiuvea Heimuli, 83, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on September 26, 2016. He was the fourth of six children born to Luisa and Viliami Heimuli on February 11, 1933 in Haapai, Tonga.
Sunia was a retired mason for Heimuli Masonry.
He was married to Mele Vaimoana and they lived in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Everyday was an important day for Sunia; he lived and loved his life, family and friends to the fullest.
He also enjoyed farming and listening to Tongan music.
Sunia is survived by his daughters, Akosita Heimuli and Kuleisi (Talanoa) Naufahu; 40 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of life service for Sunia will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Kahala Ward (located at 622 North Judd Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817); visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., service to begin at 11:45 a.m., with burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
