Sylvia DC Barros' Obituary
Sylvia DC Barros ('Beng') 86, passed away peacefully December 6, 2023 at the home of her daughter in Kaneohe. Mom was born in Honolulu, educated at Farrington High School class of '55, retired from Pan American Airlines & Queen's Hospital. She is survived by daughter Debbie (Ray) Imada, son Benny (Susan) Yadao Jr, grand children & great-grandchildren, brothers Dennis & Baron Ho. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred Dela Cruz Sr & Mercedes Pacyau (Ho), daughter Dezeree Yadao, siblings Alfred Dela Cruz Jr, Gloria Wells, Wilfred Dela Cruz Sr~ & the love of her life Wilbert (Willie) Barros.
M💖m loves to sing, cook, & travel. She loves her family & friends & gave of herself generously & unconditionally. As the formidable stoic matriarch of her family through generations, she is deeply loved & cherished & will be missed by all whose lives she's touched💕and those who graciously touched m💖ms life. Services & Interment will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 at Diamond Head Memorial Park & Cemetery.
