Takeo Arakaki, 87, of Kaneohe, a retired Kaimuki Inn cook and an Army veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in South Hilo. He is survived by nephews Roy, Gary, Glenn, Earl, Walter, Terry and Erick Arakaki, and Leslie and Lester Hokyo; and nieces Janice Murakami, Shirley Souza, Sandra Rasnur and Sharen, Aileen and Debra Arakaki.
