Teodorica Cabebe Cachola's Obituary
Teodorica Cabebe Cachola, 85, of Aiea, Hawaii passed away on May 20, 2016. She was the youngest of four children born to Calixto Cabebe and Concordia Martinez in Barangay San Antonio, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on July 1, 1930.
She was married to Osmundo M. Cachola on January of 1951 in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
She lived in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines and then made her move to America where she settled and made her permanent residency in Aiea, Hawaii on the Island of Oahu.
She began her career as a housekeeper in 1992 with the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, where she retired after 20 years of loyal service.
She was a devout Roman Catholic who was a dedicated member to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Aiea. She was also an active member with the San Antonio Club and Narvacan Club.
She was a generous, gentle, patient, quiet and loving woman who loved her family and enjoyed caring for them. She enjoyed television game shows such as Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. She also loved taking trips, especially to Reno and Las Vegas.
She is survived by her children, Edith Fiesta, Edward (Elizabeth) Cachola, Osmundo Cachola, Jr., Rey Cachola, Gerry (Darlene) Cachola and Andy (Madelaine) Cachola; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and sister, Feliza Blanza.
She is preceded in death by: husband, Osmundo Cachola, Sr. and son, Orlando Cachola.
Celebration of Life services for Teodorica will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. and wake service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral service to be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (located at 99-312 Moanalua Road Aiea, Hawaii 96701); visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Mass to begin at 10:15 a.m., with a burial to follow 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
