Teodoro Mendoza Alvarado's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Teodoro Mendoza Alvarado, born December 24, 1914 in Brgy. Garitan, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He was the oldest of 6 children. After graduation he began a career as a carpenter in the Philippines and is also a retired elevator operator for the Blaisdell Building. He lived in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. He was married to Victoria Leal Alvarado . He passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Some of his favorite hobbies were watching volleyball on T.V., playing pool table and bowling. His favorite music to listen to were Ilocano Songs. Teodoro is survived by daughters, Rosalina A. (Severino) Madriaga and Remelyn Sampaio; sons, Catalino (Marlyn) Alvarado and Regie Alvarado; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
His wake service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation to begin at 5:30 p.m. and services at 6:30p.m. Additional visitation from 10:30-11:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church-Kalihi; with Mass at 11:30 a.m. and burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
