Teofilo Seguerre Jr.'s Obituary
Teofilo Seguerre Jr. passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2022. He was born in Hilo,
Hawaii on April 18, 1940, to Teofilo Sr. and Mary Seguerre. Teofilo grew up in Hilo and moved
to Honolulu after graduation where he then joined the 442nd Army Reserves. After being
honorably discharged, he worked for thirty-five years at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. He then
retired to go into full time church ministry.
Teofilo was a faithful and active member of his church organization, Filipino Assemblies
of the First Born (FAFB) and his local church, Full Gospel Temple. He also pastored at Living
Praise Worship Center, Hilo First Born Church, and co-pastored Living Stones Fellowship.
He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley B. Guerrero, his children Wendell, Corina,
Philbert, and four grandchildren. Teofilo is also survived by his sisters Consolacion Valle & Evelyn
Moldero, brothers Alfred Seguerre & Eliseo Queja, and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life: Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Full Gospel Temple, 2464 N. School St.,
Honolulu. Viewing from 6-6:30pm. Service at 6:30-9pm. Burial service on Wednesday, Sept. 7,
2022, at Valley of the Temples, Kaneohe from 10am-12:45pm. Interment: 1pm.
