Teresita was born on October 6, 1945, in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, to Joseph Pe Benito and Maria Florendo. Raised in a close-knit family, she carried with her the values of hard work, resilience, and deep love for family that would define her life.
In pursuit of opportunity and a better future, Teresita later moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, where she built a full and meaningful life. She was known for her strength, determination, and unwavering dedication to her family. Over the years, she held a variety of jobs, embracing each role with dignity and perseverance. Prior to her retirement, she worked at a laundromat, where her kindness and warm spirit left a lasting impression on those she encountered.
Above all, Teresita’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother to her six sons: Reynaldo Quiacusan, Joselito Quiacusan, Julius Quiacusan, Richard Torres, Mark Torres, and Marlon Torres. She took immense pride in her growing family and was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless happiness and fulfillment.
Teresita will be remembered for her quiet strength, her generous heart, and her enduring love for those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, compassion, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
