Tessie B. Abad's Obituary
Tessie Bocobo Abad passed away on November 16, 2025 in Kapolei, Hawaii. She was born in Ilocos Norte, San Nicolas, Philippines to Agustin and Dolores and moved to Oahu in 1970 and married Saturnino, Sr. She worked as a housekeeper in the hotel and hospital industries until retirement.
She found joy in her garden that was flourished with orchids, lilies, vegetables, and fruits. She was an avid fan of Danielle Steele books and her love for cooking, morning walks, and spending time with family and friends brought her happiness.
She will always be remembered by her strength as a mother, her smile, her laughter and sense of humor.
Tessie is survived by her children, Saturnino Abad Jr., Rodney Abad, Richard Abad, Ricky Abad, Rocky Abad, Rena Abad, and Ruby Hoyt as well as her 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and her sisters, Lydia Ruiz, Anita Lujan, Aida Pedro, Lina Angert, Mariafe Molina, and Maria Elizabeth Pastor.
