Celebrating the Life of Theodora Castro, born April 28, 1925 in Hamakua, Hawaii. Her parents were Filimino Fernandez and Elani Kapu. She resided in Waipahu and passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Waipahu, Hawaii. She was married to Primo David Castro, Sr. on June 14 in Hilo, Hawaii. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church in Waipahu. Theodora was a homemaker. Her most important events in her life were the birth of her children. She loved playing cards,fishing and bowling. Her favorite type of music to listen to was Hawaiian music. She is survived by husband, Primo David Castro, Sr.; daughters, Donna Lee Price and Colleen L. Castro; sons, Primo D. (Belinda) Castro, Jr. and Bryan K. Castro; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. Family request no flowers and casual attire.
Her services will be on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., service to begin at 11:00 a.m.
