My uncle Thanh loves to eat papaya salads. We would have my mom make it at family dinners. We would mess with him and make a super spicy batch and he would get mad that it was "too hot". He would say to my mom that's so mean! Mom would always have a much milder batch made just for him. We will all miss you so much!

I am grieved to hear of Thompson's passing as he was such a kind man, a hard worker, and was a dear family friend.
