Tsuyako Olga Morishige's Obituary
Tsuyako "Olga" Morishige, 83, of Honolulu, Hawaii has passed away on May 9, 2017. She was born to Usa and Kozo Ige in Kaunakakai, Molokai, Hawaii on August 11, 1933. She Retired as a School Teacher with The State of Hawaii; Department of Education. She was best known to all her students as Mr. Takekawa. She taught at various schools such as Waialae Elementary and Anuenue Elementary and was a substitute teacher at many schools on the Island of 'Oahu.
Olga is survived by her husband, Kazuaki Morishige; daughters, Laura (Michael) Wale and Amy (Henry) Guerrero; brothers, Phillip (Janet) Ige and Masao Ige; sisters, Ruth Shimabuku and Sachiko (Charles) Kaneshiro; four grandchildren, Jessica and Cody Guerrero and William Wale and Jiena Takahashi.
Memorial services for Olga will be on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. with services to begin at 6:00 p.m.
