Velma Teramoto's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of one our oldest family kupuna and beloved mother, Velma Ululani Kamauoha Teramoto, who was the daughter of Charles Maniau Makeelani Kamauoha Sr. (deceased) and Afoon Lipuni AhNin (deceased). She passed away on June 21, 2018, in Pearl City, Hawaii. She is happy at peace, free from pain and suffering, somewhere over the rainbow, united with loved ones in heaven. Family and friends whose lives she has touched will forever cherish memories of her kindness and aloha. Aloha oe, A hui hou kakou. Aloha pumehana.
Velma was born Aug. 02, 1932 in (Puunene) Wailuku, Maui. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Kiyomi Teramoto, and daughter, Wren Leilani Chiyumi Teramoto. She is survived by Charlayne "Kaui" Chabala Holliday (daughter), Charles Maniau Makeelani Kamauoha Teramoto (Son), and Terry Keola Chiyotaro Teramoto (Son); Five Grandchildren: Charles Maniau Makeeklani Kamauoha Teramoto Jr., Terry Keola Chiyotaro Teramoto Jr., Spencer Teramoto, Lynea Teramoto, and Kailey Teramoto.
Visitation will be at 3:30pm with a service at 4:30pm at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel in Kaneohe, Hawaii on July 12, 2018. Burial will be at 11am on July 13, 2018, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
