Velmar Olohenani Kila's Obituary
Velmar O. Kula passed away on March 30, 2024, due to natural causes. Her parents were Peter and Margaret Kalua.
Velmar was raised in the Kaka'ako area and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1962. Aunty Velmar worked as a clerk for City and County for over 30 years. She is survived by her two daughters Tracey Kula and Ann Kila-Kiko Perez (Joseph); son Robert P Kila Jr.; two siblings Francis Kalua (Patricia), and Catherine Rose Kuulei Kalua; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Charade Kila and her husband of many years Robert P Kila Sr.
Velmar was a very spunky and generous person. She will forever be remembered for always taking care of her family.
