Verginia Momo Lauas' Obituary
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Verginia Momo "Yaya" Lauas, 75, of Waipahu, passed away July 18, 2017 at Queen's Medical Center-West. She was born in Talas, Santa Cruz, Philippines to parents Sebastian Momo and Crisanta Daligdig Momo on May 10, 1942. With her husband Richard, they owned and operated Richard and Verginia Cleaning Services.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Lauas; sons, Jemilito (Meriam) Lauas, Renato (Marisa) Lauas and Jessem Lauas; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Vencio Momo; sisters, Anastasia Pasilla, Carmen Regidor, Anaflor Tanduyan and Leonida Montepalcon.
Wake services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with service beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Valley of the Temples Memorial Chapel, with visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Service 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
