Vernon "Pocho" Noah Mahilani Cox's Obituary
Vernon “Pocho” Noah Mahilani Cox, 71, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on December 30, 2016. He was born to Ethel Kaahu and Gilbert Vierra, in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 10, 1945.
Vernon was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Board of Water Supply.
“Pocho” is survived by his loving wife, Michele Cox; sons, Vernon Noah Mahilani Cox, Jr. (“Maggie”), Michael Kapiinaokalani Cox (Michele), Patrick Naleiolaie Cox (Chastity) and Randall Keoki Cox; seven grandchildren; and brother, Jerome Kuulei Cox (Barbara).
Celebration of life service for “Pocho” will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Star of the Sea Catholic Church; visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., with service to begin at 11:00 a.m.
