Celebrating life of: Victor Elias Allas Sr. Born on: May 08, 1930 in Tayug, Pagasinan (Philippines)
Son of Apolonio Allas (90 years old, occupation Merchant/Farmer) and Melecia E. Allas (102 years old Merchant) He was the 3rd amongst 4 children. His siblings are Justina Allas Mago+ married to Juan L. Mago+; Paulino Allas + married to Narcisa Allas+ ; & Jorge Allas Sr.+ married to Priscilla M. Allas (+ indicates deceased).
When he was in elementary he worked by cutting grass and sold it to owners of horses and continued to do this until high school. In high school he also had a job picking up Tennis balls, 10 cent/ball, with his Uncle, family best friend growing up, Larry Ylarde, whom was close in age with him.
He obtained a Bachelors Degree in Law at the College of Law in Manila at Far Eastern University. Based in Dagupan City in the Philippines he was an Insurance underwriter before he immigrated to Hawaii.
During college he worked as an office clerk.
His favorite memory was his marriage to his wife of 54 years, most romantic sentiment involved his true love and the sincerity in her voice when she said, “I Love you so much.” He courted Paula Mapili Allas by visiting her dorms as she finished up her nursing degree, when he could.
On February 16, 1957 Married Paula Mapili Allas+ They had four children: Noel, Noemi, Moses+, and Victor Jr.
Around 1969/1970 he immigrated to the island of Oahu and was followed shortly after his family. While establish his life in United States of America, Victor Allas Sr. worked as an insurance man for Prudential. Working as an insurance man he became a distinguished agent. After he retired he became an interpreter at the court house for new immigrants from the Philippines and worked as a Notary Public.
His favorite activities involved playing chess, watching boxing, reading, and spending time with his family, most especially with his grandchildren. He was a fan of the big band era music, but loved it most when his eldest son, Noel would sing.

Grand Children: Kyle Allas Jacob, Lauralee Allas Jacob, Megan Allas Jacob, Matthew Allas, Andrew Allas, Nathan Allas, & Isabella Allas
Wake Service: Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 5:30-9:00 p.m., prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral Service: Friday, May 23, 2014 at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church (94-1260 Lumikula Street); visitation from 9:30-10:45 a.m.; Mass to begin at 11:00 a.m. and burial service to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
