Victor Dacanay Yasay 's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Victor D. Yasay, born May 8, 1956 in Salanap Pinili, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. To Sinforoso Yasay and Caroline Dacanay Yasay. He was the 4th child out of 9, attended Salanap Elementary School and Pinili Institute. After graduating and moving to Hawaii he began his career as a Sprinkler Technician for the City and County of Honolulu. He was a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo, Church of Christ. Victor held an office with the Iglesia Ni Cristo as a Deacon. He was a loving, mellow, caring, and hardworking man who loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, and being the all-around handyman. Victor is survived by wife, Glenda T. Yasay; son, Mark Anthony (Vanessa) Yasay; daughter, Michelle (Sidney) Santos; brothers, Virgilio (Teresita), Vicente (Edralin), Villamor (Melody), and Villadon (Valentina) Yasay; sisters, Nelia Pacol, Melita Anicoche, and Venelyn (Kevin) Deiner; parents, Sinforoso and Caroline Yasay; preceded in death by first wife, Josephine Tugade Yasay; sister, Venus Yasay.
His services will be held on Friday (10/11) and Saturday (10/12) at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation for Friday’s service will begin at 5:30p.m. and the Service will begin at 6:30p.m.; Saturday’s Visitation will begin at 9:30a.m. and Service will start at 10:00a.m.; Burial will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Valley of the Temple’s Memorial Park.
