Born in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Victorina Tagaca Transfiguracion, a beacon of strength, humor, kindness, and care, passed away peacefully in Honolulu, Hawaii at the age of 102. Her life was a testament to her strong will and her ability to touch the lives of those around her with her warmth and generosity.
Victorina is survived by her loving daughters, Thelma (Marcos Jr.) Carinio and Gina (Gordon) Kim. She was a cherished grandmother to Jordan (Prima) Carinio, Janelle (David) Yant, Cristhel (Ehren) Stuber, Kelsea-Ann (Mike) Lam, and Christopher-John Kim. Her legacy continues to live on in her great-grandchildren, Elijah, Nehemiah, Adeline, Amara, Mike Jr., Abraham, and Isabelle.
Victorina’s life was filled with laughter, love, and an unwavering spirit that will continue to inspire her family and all who knew her. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones.
Services to celebrate Victorina’s life will be held at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Mortuary. The family invites those who wish to pay their respects and share in remembering a life beautifully lived.
