Vincent "Vince" Peter Wallis, 87 of Kailua, A retired Major in United States Air force, served for 23 years, passed away December 11, 2011 in Kailua. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He is survived by wife, Evelyn Wallis; sons, William P. (Pam) (of Toney, AL) and Paul B. Wallis (of Seattle Washington); daughters, Jan (Joseph) Knapik (of Grants Pass, OR), Karen (John) FitzGerald (of Hakalau, HI) and Marilyn (Tony" DiLullo (of Lanikai, HI); seven grandchildren, William P. Wallis, II (of CA), Cristina (David) Lynch (of Alameda, CA), Steffen DiLullo (of Honolulu, HI), Christian DiLullo (of Lanikai,HI), John Paul (Julia) Wallis (of Davis,CA), Michael John (Leslie) Fitzgerald (of Honolulu, HI) and Kimo (Megan) Mant (of Hakalau, HI); two great-grandchildren; sister, Valeria Silk (of Baltimore, MD); donations can be made to Hospice Hawaii; private services to be held.
