Patti Laba
Aunty VIolet came into my life over 45 years ago as my best friend's mom. At that time, she loved soap operas and kept a household running with 5 children while babysitting her grandchildren. I can still picture her in the kitchen, joking around with us. Beryl would make sure the dishes were done before asking her if we could go out. To this day, I make sure the sink is cleared before leaving the house. I was at her house so often that it was like a second home.
To me, she was feisty, funny, and honest. She was a strong woman who raised her children to have a good character. Love you, Aunty Violet.
