Violet P. Maii's Obituary
Violet Pope Maii, 99 of Honolulu, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at her residence. She was born in beautiful Kahuku, Hawaii on October 11, 1918. She was born to father Hong Bong Yu and mother Elizabeth Kahelepuna. After high school she earned an Associate Degree from the Honolulu Business College. She worked as an Associate Clerk at City Mill. She is survived by her sons, Alan (Jennifer), Stephen (Kamilla) and Samuel Maii; daughters, Sandi (Marcus) Halualani and Charlene Janicki; brother, John S. (Eileen) Yu; sister, Elizabeth Surratt; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Violet Pope Maii will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
Visitation: 9:30 a.m.
Service: 10:30 am with a luncheon to follow.
Burial: 1:00p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
