Valley of the Temples is saddened to announce the passing of Violet "Carmen" Bong Kee Jhun Staszkow. We are honored to be serving the Staszkow family during this time.
Violet "Carmen" Bong Kee Jhun Staszkow, 95, of Honolulu, passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, one of twenty-one children of Mary Santiago. Carmen is survived by her children, Ronald (Barbara), Myron (Marthanne), Wendell (Robyn), Rhona (Paul), Carmela (Ed), as well as, 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Also survived by two sisters, Isabella Hong and Betsy Hinau.
