Malapit, Virginia's Obituary
Virginia Garcia Malapit, born on March 16, 1933, in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was 91 years old.
Virginia is survived by her loving children: Josephine Lagoc, Christopher Malapit, Emily Malapit, Maritess Simeon, and Jessie Malapit. She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, as well as her beloved sister, Josefina Arucan. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband.
Services to honor Virginia's life will be held on February 18, 2025, at the United Church of Christ at 4:30 PM. A continuation of the services will take place the following day at Valley of the Temples Makai Chapel at 11 AM, with burial to follow at 3 PM.
Virginia's warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace
