Vivian Mae Santos' Obituary
Vivian Mae Santos, 90, of Kailua, Oahu, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2015. She was born on January 17, 1925 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Manuel Mattos Jr. and Marian Garcia
Vivian graduated from McKinley High School class of 1942, where she was a marksman. She was a Kailua resident for over 60 years. She worked with the Honolulu Police Department during wartime and later became a business owner for R & N Maintenance Service where she retired.
She is survived by daughters, Joann Medeiros, Julie Pleasanton, and Jean (Kenneth) Gilbert; eight grandchildren, John (Keri) Medeiros, James Medeiros, Jason (Shantel) Medeiros, Jeffrey (Zina) Medeiros, Joel (Lan) Medeiros, Jessica Pleasanton, Miranda Gilbert, and Kylie Gilbert; 11 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Preceded in to eternal life by husband of 54 years, Raymond Santos.
Visitation: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Kailua; Mass to begin at 10:30 a.m.,with burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
