Wallace William Cavaco's Obituary
90, Wallace William Cavaco, of Kailua, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii on April 10, 1928, to his loving parents Charles Souza Cavaco and Helen Garcia. Wallace was the second oldest of three children. He attended school at St. Louis and after went off to continue his education at the University of Hawaii, where he earned his Associates degree. Wallace then joined the USAF, attaining the rank of Msgt. After serving our great country for 23 years, he finally retired from the US Air Force in 1971. Wallace was also a very happily married man to his beautiful, loving wife of 55 years, Evaline Cavaco. He was a very humble and happy man who was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Kailua and also Kai Makani Club at Pali Lanes Bowling Alley. In his spare time, Wallace enjoyed activities such as bowling, golfing and most importantly his family trips to Texas and Las Vegas. He was also a very giving man who donated to many places such as Wounded Warriors, Cancer Society and St. Judes. Wallace is survived by Cerenna Vasut, Wallace Cavaco II, Charles Cavaco, Roxann Williams. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Predeceased: Ronald P. Cavaco. Services for Wallace will be held on Friday, October 05,2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am; Service: 9:30 am; Burial will be at 11:00 am at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
