Walter Agustin Felipe's Obituary
Walter Agustin Felipe, 53 of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022 after his battle with cancer. Through his ill ness he managed to show strength and resiliance, and fought hard to beat his cancer. Walter was able to beat it, but unfortunately the cancer came back.
Walter continued to live his life to the fullest and did not let his illness get him down. He wanted to watch his son, nieces and nephews graduate.
Walter Felipe was born on April 17, 1969 to Emeterio Felipe and Corazon Agustin. He was preceded in death by his Father, Emeterio Felipe. He is survived by his Mother: Corazon Agustin; Brother: Russell (Trisha) Felipe; Shevrron Valdry; Son: Mordecai Valdry, and numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Walter, also known as "La Bamba" during his much younger years, enjoyed his love of owning muscle cars, working on them, and sharing his vast knowledge with the next generation of hot rod enthusiasts. He had an infectious smile and energetic personality, loved to make jokes and make people laugh with his many stories. Walter will truly be missed by all.
A Celebration of Walter's life will be held at Valley of the Temples Mortuary- Lower Chapel; 47-200 Kahekili Highway., Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744, on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11am. Luncheon to follow.
Cremation and a private burial to follow at a later date.
