Walter "Junning" Mata Sr.'s Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Walter “Junning” Mata Sr., 78, of Nanakuli, passed away on November 4, 2014. He was born in South Hilo, Hawaii. He was a retired Machinist Supervisor at Pearl Harbor Naval Ship Yard; and also a United States Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by sons, Walter Mata Jr., Steven P.K., Alan Wade K. (Precious), Clifford A.K. Mata and Roger Salazar; daughter, Davelynn “Chickie” P. Mata; sisters, Barbara Camacho and Gloria “Nanai” DelaCruz.
Visitation will be held 9:30-11:30a.m., Monday December 1, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service at 11:30a.m.; with burial to follow 1:00p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
