Wayne was a loyal Lead Mechanic in the Boilermaker shop. Excellent skills in layout and fabrication techniques. As his foreman I recognized his leadership ability and depended on
him to organize daily work assignments of a crew which ranged in 25 to 40 men. He did a great job for which he was recognized in annual performance ratings as ‘OUTSTANDING’. His performance was one of a few men in the Boiler Shop as a contributor to the successes of his superiors!
