Wilfred Butay's Obituary
Wilfred Butay, 69, of Waianae, Hawaii passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at his residence. He was born to Antonio Butay and Edovjes Lacara in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii on December 9, 1946. He was a retired environmental specialist with the Pearl Harbor, Public Works Center and a United States Army Veteran.
Hi is survived by his sons, Mark Butay, Dwayne Butay, Derrick Butay, Mike Butay and Scott Butay; daughters, Michelle Butay, Lisa Butay-Lono, Liza Caspino and Kimberly Gauthier; brother, Kelly Butay; sisters, Solidad Olarti and Lani Guillermo; 33 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mr. Butay will be set for Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.; service to begin at 11:30 a.m. with burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Committal Shelter where Military Honors will be rendered at time of service.
