I met Bill in 1993 on one of my visits to Hawaii. We became friends. He was part of our dinner group when I visited Hawaii annually. A good guy who will be missed.
Bill was my brothers roommate in their frat house at UCLA. I went to a dance there, and
I met Bill. The frat house was mostly football players, and my brother Bud would not let
those who asked, date me ~ but he did let Bill. Bill and I tried twice, but it felt like my brother was there with us and it just didn't click. I was just seventeen, and Bill and I became lifelong friends. We both flew to London for my brother's wedding. We both ended up living in Hawaii. Bill was never critical of others, but had high standards for himself. Bill was rightfully proud of continuing his education later in life, and of writing
a book about Logo's and Design. I too, would like to know what caused his passing.
Since we spoke not too long before that, I am hoping that he went peacefully in his sleep.
Bill was the most decent man ever, and that would be so fitting. Somewhere over the rainbow, Bill is having a great time, while being kind to others.
Aloha nui lani, Bill, until we meet again.

Bill was a very good friend. In fact we were going together thru High School. He has always been in my heart even though we went our separate ways. I know he was a Christian and know he is at peace with our Lord. My heart felt condolences to his family and friends
Sadly I only found out today that Dr. Bill had passed away. We have known each other since 2003 when I spent my first Summer on the Gold Coast. We became 'bobbing friends' and went down the sea ladder each time I returned to Hawaii. He represents so much of my love for this particular part of this lovely isle. I will miss him horribly - but always remember the smiling, the laughter, his shirts and how much his stories touched me. Love and sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
