William Alan Congdon Sr.'s Obituary
William Alan Congdon Sr., 70, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2017. He was born
in Chester, Pennsylvania on November 9, 1946.
William “Bill” Congdon is survived by his wife, Yolanda Congdon, daughters, Christine (Scott) Pacrem,
Joanne (Jonathan) Ching, Jenna (Anthony) Drizos; Son, William (Kristen) Congdon Jr, and blessed with 8
Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Bill grew up in Claymont, Delaware, and joined the Air Force shortly after high school. During his travels
around the world, he was stationed in Hawaii and felt that this was his 2nd home. Bill eventually retired
in Hawaii after serving over 26 years to be closer to his children. He retired from the Air Force in 1995,
and worked for Homeland Security, Immigrations, & Customs, until he retired for good in 2012.
Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, but most importantly, He was a son of
God. He attended Grace Bible Church Pearlside regularly and loved Jesus unconditionally. Those who
knew him, knew that he was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and loved watching football. His love for
music was unmeasurable, he especially loved R&B & Soul.
Bill will be greatly missed by all, but we know he’s celebrating with all his family & friends in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
Visitations will be at 10:30 a.m., Services at 11:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served after the service.
The burial will be at 2 p.m. at Hawaiian State Veteran’s Cemetery.
