William "Danny" Daniel Burgess' Obituary
William “Danny” Daniel Burgess, Kaneohe, was born on February 11th, 1950, to Bill Burgess and Norma Miller in Springfield, Missouri. Danny passed away on August 8th, 2022, in his home, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was president of WDBurgess, Inc. He was an accomplished pipe liner, fisherman and hunter.
He met his wife, Vyra Von LaBatte in 1972 in Honolulu. They were married on October 10th, 1976.
Danny is Survived by his wife of 45 years, Vyra. His children: Kekaulani Ann Brown, Daniel Kekona Burgess and Byrl Kanoa Burgess (Allison.) Grandchildren: Kaiehu, Keely, Hunter, Bishop, Harley, Fisher and Emmy. Sister: Becky Lem. Brother: Richard Brown. Many nieces and nephews and an extended Ohana of people across the islands and mainland.
He was predeceased by his mother, father, brother: Mickey Burgess and grandparents.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at a later date.
