Won Chul Sim, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, in Aiea, Hawaii. He was born in Korea to Kyung Joo and In Bok Sim and carried with him the values of hard work, resilience, and dedication throughout his life.
Won Chul made his home in Hawaii, where he pursued his entrepreneurial spirit by owning and operating his own travel agency. Through his work, he helped countless individuals and families create meaningful journeys, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he served.
He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Chong Cho Sim, and his three children, Jeanie Chin, Helen Sim, and Thomas Sim. He also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will remember him for his kindness, generosity, and quiet strength.
Won Chul’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply.
