YOLANDA LEIALOHA SANCHEZage 62, of Salt Lake (Aliamanu), passed away peacefully on December 9, 2012; surrounded by her husband of 37 years and her two sons at her bedside. She is an Alumni of Aiea High School, Class of 1968 and also attended Leeward Community College for two years and graduated with an Associate's Degree. She was a retired Customer Service Representative II with First Hawaiian Bank, in Mapunapuna for 35 years.With her husband and best friend for 40 years, they made a lifetime of memories that will be inbedded forever. Traveling abroad, family outings (which included fishing, camping, and all other memorable things), time cannot measure the memories that she has given to us. Although she has passed, her spirit will remain in our hearts and lives forever. Until we meet again, "A hui hou my loving wife and best friend."Yolanda was a loving wife and mother who will be deeply missed. She met many people in her life: whether it was on a personal or professional basis. She was a great listener and a true friend.She is survived by husband, Edward "Eddie" G. Sanchez; sons, Jory E. (Lesley) Sanchez and Justin V.K. Sanchez (Shanese Kaneshiro); granddaughters, Shantel I.M. Sanchez and Chloe L.Y. Sanchez; mother, Cecilia L. (Theodore) Teixeira; sisters, Luana R. Stafford, Yvonne L. Gasper and Lucianne K. (Robert) Lagapa; brother, John A. Gasper; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandnieces and grandnephews.Celebration of life service 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. Aloha attire.
