Zenaida Terrado Bautista's Obituary
With profound love, we celebrate the life of Zenaida Terrado Bautista, our beloved matriarch who passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026.
Born the youngest of 12 children in Binmaley, Philippines, Zenaida was a woman of extraordinary vision and grit. After marrying Pedro Bautista in 1970, she moved to Kaneohe Hawaii, where she dedicated her life to building a better future for her entire family. In 1984, she opened Aida’s Carehome, turning her gift for caregiving into a cornerstone of her community.
Zenaida was the bridge that brought her family from the Philippines to the islands, ensuring that everyone she loved had a path to success. Her legacy of strength lives on through her husband, Pedro; her twin daughters, Cheryl and Carol; and her sons, Buddy and Henry (Precious). She was the proud grandmother of Jayden (Terina), Alissa (Ryan II), Christian, and Brian; and the beloved great-grandmother of Ryan III and Kaira. She is also survived by her brother Alberto Terrado and her sisters Shirley Caras (Melvyn) and Aurora Tomas (Virgilio), alongside a vast network of loved ones who were touched by her selfless heart and unwavering devotion.
She taught us that no distance is too far and no obstacle is too great when it comes to family. Her life stands as a testament to what one woman’s determination can achieve for generations to come.
