Betty Kimiko Uehara's Obituary
Betty Kimiko Uehara, 91, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on July 18, 2017. Betty was born to Kame (Adaniya) and Ushi Uehara on January 9, 1926 in Hawi, North Kohala, Hawai’i.
Betty was a retired professor for the University of Hawaii @ Manoa.
Betty is survived by her nieces and nephews, Edith Uehara, Doris Uehara, Georgeanne and Mike Kubo, Mae and Kenneth Au, Clifford Hokama, Robert Sasaki, Alvin Sasaki, Sandra Pires, Calvin and Stacy Ishihara, Benton Yoza, Patti Marie and Michael Koyama, Mike and Janice Uehara, Joanne Kurihara, Roy and Madoka Uehara.
Celebration of life service for Betty will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Diamond Head Mortuary; visitation from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., with service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Private inurnment.
