in honor of Consuelo.

I work with Ms.Connie. When the children are taking a nap we would clean up the classroom and she would stop me an say " Iam having fun Ms.Wilette" . She then would tell me all about her family and how much she loved them and going to Las Vagas. Connie would share her food with her c/oworkers. And say to me
"a Ms. Wilette you want food " and laugh. I remember my last hug from her at a c/o workers party.
With all my LOVE and ALOHA I say
I'll REMEMBER YOU DEEP IN MY HEART.

Summer of 2019 was Jonah’s first true experience of Hawaii. His first time to Hawaii didn’t count because he was only a year and a half. I arrived home a couple days earlier than Jonah. Jonah was traveling with his other grandmother. While at home, mom tells me, “tell my grandson, he doesn’t need anything I already bought him everything.” I’m confused scratching my head not understanding what mom meant by “everything”’ so I asked her to clarify. She goes to her walk in closet opens the door and pulls out a full size luggage and opens it up on the bed. “EVERYTHING!” That’s what my mom shouted as she shows me the entire wardrobe she bought for Jonah. Best 15th birthday ever all thanks to grandma. The wardrobe was the tip of the iceberg of Jonah’s birthday celebration.
