Toribio, Don's Obituary
Don J. Toribio Jr., 76, of Waipahu, HI, passed away on March 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughters, Donna Lyn Toribio Tirado and Jacqueline Toribio Stanton.
He was born in Minanga Namuac, Sanchez Mira, Cagayan, Philippines, and was the seventh of twelve siblings.
Don pursued his education at Honolulu Community College, earning an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering. He dedicated over 30 years of hard work as a diligent supervisor at Weyerhaeuser, where he was respected for his leadership and commitment.
Beyond his professional life, Don was a man of deep passions. He found joy in listening to sentimental love songs, tending to his garden, and traveling to Las Vegas with his beloved wife, cherishing every moment they spent together. Above all, he was a devoted husband and father, always putting his family first.
He is survived by his wife Ley, his daughter Jeannie Ley Toribio Meredith with her husband Brett, 6 granddaughters- Leiana Tirado Salvador with husband Jed, Victoria Tirado, Brittanie Meredith, Josie Meredith Davis with husband Jonathon, Teylor and Aaryn Stanton. He is also survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters with their spouses; numerous family members and dear friends.
Catholic Service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 1 pm at St. Joseph Waipahu .
Burial Service to follow at 3 pm at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
