Wow! I’m so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I knew John back in the early 1970’s when we were in elementary school together. He was always kind and polite, and I hope he would have remembered me the same way.
Life took us in different directions after intermediate school, as my family moved and I became a “townie”, never to live on the windward side again.
Though I don’t know what happened that John ended up in a wheelchair, I recall seeing him and his sports accomplishments in the newspaper etc., and I thought John set a good example of positivity, when many others would have sat around feeling sorry for themselves. Way to go, John! 👍😀
I would love to hear from John’s family.
Please accept my sincere condolences, respect and best wishes.
Sincerely,
Martin Grant
