I first met Peggy in the summer of 1998 when I was in Kailua. We shared meals together and as a graduate student both Peggy and Armand were very kind. It was great to see them in church and I always tried to visit whenever I came to Hawaii. Our last visit was when I introduced them to my soon to be wife. One time when we got to chatting it turned out that she went to elementary school only a mile from where my Grandmother was currently living at the time (Clark Mills, NY with a population of <2,000).

Peggy and I met in Hawaii in 1983, both of our husband's where stationed at Schofield Barracks. Peggy and I became friends and shared a passion for running, we ran several 10 k's and half marathons and in 1985 we ran the Honolulu marathon. We stayed in touch until 2020. Rest in Peace Peggy I think of you and Armand and a smile comes to my face because of all the wonderful memories we shared ❤️
