Mary Margaret Pelletier was born on April 8, 1944, in Whitesboro, New York to parents Helen Mary (Madden) Slawson and David Edward Slawson. Peggy attended Whitesboro High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the College of Artesia and a master’s degree in secondary education from the University of New Mexico.
Peggy married Armand on August 2, 1974, in Germany. They moved several times due to Armand’s military career with the Army, including Alabama, Washington DC, Hawaii and Johnston Island. Peggy enjoyed many activities such as tennis, yoga & Pilates, cooking, volunteering at their Church, St. John Vianney as well as rescuing & caring for countless homeless cats over the years. She particularly loved and cherished being with family. Peggy was a kind, loving, generous person with a zest for life.
